Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists (OTs) work across all ages and stages of life to help people achieve independence, maintain function and perform meaningful ‘occupations’ (a word OTs use for everyday tasks and activities).

At Little TheraPeas our OTs work with children and their families to help them meet their developmental milestones, increase independence and live life with joie de vivre.

Our OTs work with children with: 

Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Difficulties, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder/ Attention Deficit Disorder, Developmental Delays, Early Childhood Development Difficulties, Fine and Gross Motor Skill Difficulties, Toileting Difficulties, Feeding Difficulties, Sleep Difficulties, Executive Function Difficulties, Anxiety, Social and Play Skill Difficulties, Behavioural Difficulties and much more.

Our OTs use a range of treatment modalities including:

 – DIR®/Floortime, Sensory Processing Interventions, Positive Parenting, Social Thinking, COOP Approach, ALERT Program, Zones of Regulation, Conquering Wees and Poos,  Handwriting Approaches, Family Centred Practice, SuperFlex and Parent Education.
